Pyro was waiting silently, leaning against the fence that went along the street. A buzzing crowd of students seemed to stagger around, but none of them paid any attention to the girl. They could hardly pay attention to each other, staring at one another, throwing words and laughter without really catching it in return, some enjoying their third cigarette. The girl coughed at the smoke trying her best to ignore it while weakly fumbling with her phone and her eternally lagging internet connection. Today she was supposed to meet someone, but… who?
A young girl quietly walked along a street, barely paying notice to those around her. They didn’t hold much significance, nor did they have anything to offer her, so she found no reason to consider them. However, she did notice something that seemed to be relevant to her interests. A girl about her age, leaning against a fence.
She approached her silently, before standing in front of her and turning the corners of her mouth up by almost a full millimeter.
However, not being one for words, she felt that perhaps just presenting herself in such a manner would be suffice as a “hello”.
A sudden sound made her jump, nearly dropping her phone as she juggled with it for a few seconds before being able to grab a hold of it with both her hands. A sound? Or had it been a word? Her attention turned to the girl standing in front of her with a somehow odd expression, her eyes glued on her. Had she gotten lost and needed directions? Unused to being approached in such a manner, Pyro replied rather shyly.
“H-hello. Can I help you with anything?”
